We don’t want to be just another run-of-the-mill boarding kennel, so we work hard at being different. Here are a few of the things that set us apart from the rest.
- Open concept – the dogs see each other at all times, which lessens their stress.
- Lots of supervised socialization – each dog gets at least 1 1/2 to 2 hours per day of socialization at no extra cost.
- Personalized integration – at the beginning of their stay each dog is individually intergrated into the community based on their compabilility and comfort level.
- Flexible drop-off and pick-up times – drop-off could be as late as 6:00 pm because we want to make sure that they get some exercise before their bed time. The pick-up can be anytime between 7:30 am to 9:00 pm – we arrange this with the owners at booking time.
- Every dog is treated – and loved – like our own – we make sure that each dog is eating well… we keep an eye on their stools… we make sure that all medication is given on time. We try our best to keep them on their routine that is given in their own home.
- Most dogs don’t want to leave – just like you don’t want your vacation to end, our “guests” are reluctant to leave at the end of their vacation.
- New client and dog mandatory visit – we require that each new client/dog attend an initial visit to allow the dog to familiarize itself with us and the kennel. We closely observe its behaviour nd make an initial assessment regarding to best meet its needs.
- Careful choice of neighbours – when dogs come to be boarded we do our best to place each one near the dogs that they would be most compatible with so they have a friend inside and out, and we also try to judge their length of stay.
